The Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins feud speculation is finally being put to rest. Rumours of a rift have been inescapable since The White Lotus season three finale aired, but now both actors have made their feelings toward one another very clear.
Wood and Goggins reunited for only the second time since The White Lotus finale for a photoshoot with Variety. According to the publication, theirs was the kind of warm welcome you’d expect from friends, noting it was “a visibly emotional one” where the “two embraced for 30 seconds.”
In case you missed it (perhaps out of service the last two months or living on a desert island), fans became convinced the actors had fallen out after they unfollowed one another on Instagram, among other clues.
Alas, they’ve either patched things up or the internet was just sleuthing too hard. It’s likely the latter.

Walton Goggins Comments On Aimee Lou Wood Feud
Goggins, who played Rick on the show, firmly shut down speculation, telling the publication he had nothing but adoration for his on-screen love.
“There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me,” he said.
He went on to reiterate: “She is love and I know that I am that to her. We care about each other very deeply.”
Aimee Lou Wood Comments On Walton Goggins Feud
In the same interview, Wood not only shared the same sentiment over their feid speculation but also addressed that SNL incident and Goggins’ stint on the show following.
For those who don’t recall, the Sex Education star called out Saturday Night Live following a sketch dubbed the ‘White POTUS’ poked fun at her appearance. Feud rumours were at their peak during this time and only fuelled when Goggins touted the skit as funny before appearing on SNL shortly after.
“For f–k’s sake, of course Walton should do SNL. That’s got nothing to do with me. He’s f—–g had a career for, like, how long?” Wood said, assuring that she held no ill will toward her co-star over his appearance.

In regards to the pair unfollowing one another on social media – the catalyst for the rumours – Wood clarified: ““We don’t give a shite about Instagram.”
Goggin mirrored her sentiment, adding that he felt he needed distance to decompress post-show.
“If I may add, just to put this to bed? The following or unfollowing. I’m a grown-ass man,” he said.
“I needed to just back away from everyone [after White Lotus ended].
“I haven’t spoken to anyone. I couldn’t handle it. Judge me or don’t. I don’t give a f–k what you think. This is my process. Rick means everything to me, and Chelsea means everything to me. And so that’s what I needed to do for me to process all of this.”
Really hammering home his strong feeling about the saga, Goggins finished by adding: “It’s all so ridiculous,” he said.
“It’s just a part of me just saying goodbye to this character so that now Aimee and I will be friends for f—–g ever.”
